Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous awards. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). Her family was an artistic family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the artistic fields. She started as a photographic assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising actress. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide notoriety, and the Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. In just three years, MacGraw was ranked as the number one female box-office participant in the entire world. The Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. She was a part of several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was divorced three times.
