Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared during her stage debut. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut music album called This is Tina Time. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the film. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. In 1964, she signed to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as opposed her perceived image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years, she's also become an acclaimed director of well-known television series such as Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 28th August 1965, her family moved to Toronto around the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there and her adolescence. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She is a resident of Vancouver ever from then on.
