Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is a British singer and songwriter. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. Having caught the public's attention in 2010 with her singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses" British vocalist Ellie Goulding rapidly rose to the highest of the charts thanks to her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack of writing captivating, yet emotional music, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap has a place at the cutting edge of the current mainstream and an independent, artistic pop.Goulding was soon moving from the blogosphere to print media, gaining the attention of mainstream magazines like The Guardian and fielding offers from record companies. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a big record deal. Her debut album was ready for release. Ellie Ellie Ellie Ellie Ellie
